Turning Point also offer an online digital treatment tool that can help with alcohol use as well as wellbeing support via Drug support.
You can also use the DUST (Drug Use Screening Tool) attached below to assist in making a decision about how to respond to substance use by a young person and how to make a referral.
- Teen Health 11-19 (new service from Sept 2022 in replace of school nursing for this age group) - one of the key priority areas is to support children and young people to make healthier choices with a focus on reducing substance misuse particularly cannabis use, and reducing alcohol consumption.
- Leicestershire Police - offer workshops and support to schools to help raise awareness about 5 key topics which are aimed at KS3, including: Substance Misuse, County lines, Knife Crime, Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), Online Safety.
