Leicestershire County Council are working with Exeter Schools Health Education Unit (SHEU) to collect baseline data on children's and young people's health-related behaviours through an anonymous school-based survey.

The survey will ask a series of validated questions about the health experiences of individual children and young people regarding their wellbeing, physical activity, healthy eating, school and learning, as well as how they have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic and what they are worried about etc. Over 40 schools have already benefited from taking part in this survey and we would value a more holistic picture.

The results will help us to understand the health and wellbeing of children and young people in our county and to ensure services can meet their needs. The outcome will be a set of countywide figures at key points in children and young people's development.
