Venue: NSPCC National Training Centre

Harmful sexual behaviour (HSB) is developmentally inappropriate sexual behaviour displayed by children and young people which is harmful or abusive. In primary schools, learning about sex and sexual behaviour is often a healthy and normal part of a child's development but concerning behaviour can also start to emerge. In secondary schools, children often spend time unsupervised, can be influenced by their peer group, and have more exposure to technology and social media platforms – these factors can influence their understanding of what healthy sexual behaviour looks like. An early response to HSB can help prevent students from harming themselves and others.

This face-to-face course at the NSPCC National Training Centre in Beaumont Leys is designed to advance your knowledge of Harmful Sexual Behaviours, and the skills you need to recognise, report and report sexualised behaviour concerns. Presented by Matthew Corrigan and Joanna Binley, East Midlands Community Forensic CAMHS.

Book your place via Eventbrite. The training is FREE to attend.
