Children and young People's Mental Wellbeing Awareness Training

Venue: LCB Depot, Leicester
Specifically those roles that have an active degree of engagement
in public health; an opportunity to influence the peers and family
around a child or young person; and direct repeat contact with
children and young people considered at risk of poor mental
wellbeing. This includes those individuals working in:
•› Education;
•› Police for example, those that respond to health protection
incidents, domestic abuse incidents and based in youth justice; and
•› Local authority children's services for example, housing
officers, social workers, youth workers.
With content informed by the Public Mental Health Content
Guide (HEE), this locality-based multi-agency training will
support attendees to adopt a public health mindset with greater
appreciation of how their work can make a difference to children
and young people's mental wellbeing.
