**Due to the current unprecedented situation with COVID-19, the Leicestershire Health Schools Programme will be continuing providing training for schools but via webinar (MS Teams, Zoom Skype etc..) until further notice.

We have made arrangements with all of our training providers to be flexible in their delivery as new guidance emerges.

The live webinar, delivered by the Children and Family Wellbeing Service at Leicestershire County Council will equip schools with the knowledge and understanding to support children and young people in accessing psychological therapies through their service.

The webinar will cover, but is not limited to:

  • Background of a PWP and IAPT
  • What the CFWS is and how they can support your school
  • Criteria for referral
  • How to refer
  • Types of treatment
  • Principles of CBT
  • Exclusion criteria
  • specialist support available

Practitioners will be available on the webinar to answer any questions you may have.
