Drug Overview session for Schools across Leicestershire County

Leicestershire Police's Substance Misuse Team Leader - James Edmondston and Turning Point's Young People and Young Adult Manager Annmarie Smyth will be delivering an interactive and informative training session for teachers and school staff members providing an local overview and update on Drugs and substance use in young people within Leicestershire

Drug Overview Session will include:

• 90 Minutes free Training event via Microsoft Teams for all schools staff, children and family workers and youth workers.
• Update on substance use and hotspots within Leicestershire
• Update on drugs use drugs their classification and their effects
• Emerging threats update on Cannabis Edibles
• Prevention and services available
