Since the beginning of COVID-19, people of all ages have had to adapt and transition through changes, many beyond their control. This has been difficult for many people, but we have survived! This session will support us in reflecting on this time, discuss the strategies that have assisted us and the positive changes we have made and are making going forwards. A whole setting approach to recovery allows everybody to feel valued & cared for and where child, staff and parent/carer mental health and wellbeing is supported holistically.

This training assists attendees to:

  • Reflect on their individual journey up to this point, including the professional and personal changes made
  • Develop knowledge around how sudden change, uncertainty and 'unsafety' can effect children's mental health and behaviours
  • Learn new ideas & strategies to support the ripple effect of COVID-19
  • Design your own bespoke self-care routine to help gain a healthy work-life balance
  • Gain ideas for creating a holistic nurturing environment for healing & recovery

Learning Outcomes:

  • Take part in fun, engaging learning activities
  • Gain helpful advice and guidance
  • Share good practice with others
  • Be able to put into practice new knowledge to create a whole setting approach to supporting staff, parents/carers and children
