PSHE Network Session for Primary Schools

As the statutory expectations for relationships (and Sex) and health education come into effect as from September 2020, these meetings will provide regular (termly) opportunities for colleagues responsible for PSHE / R(S)HE to stay up to date with expectations and opportunities and to share good practice.

They will be facilitated by John Rees who has run these network meetings for the LA for the last few years but have often involved outside speakers/presenters.

Relationships education will be crucial to help schools meet the on-going and longer-term needs of pupils following the pandemic. The OFSTED expectations around 'Personal Development' are likely to assume renewed importance and these network meetings can help to support this.
