Tues 8th July- Relationship & Sex Education Networking Event - What have we learnt?

We are holding a Relationship & Sex Education Networking Event -

This FREE afternoon networking event is an opportunity for SRE /RSE and PSHE leads from schools across the county to share their experiences of consulting pupils, parents and staff about their SRE/RSE provision, and to identify how to respond to this learning.
The event hosted by Leicestershire Healthy Schools (Public Health) will be facilitated by Lucy Emmerson, and Jane Lees, Coordinator and Chair of the Sex Education Forum.
Join us to:
• Reflect on the process of using SRE/RSE consultation activities with the school community
• Get advice on up-dating your school SRE/RSE policy and using information collected through consultation activities
• Network with other schools working to improve their SRE/RSE provision
• Understand national requirements and Ofsted recommendations for SRE/RSE
• Receive your copy of SRE/RSE policy guidance

Date: Tuesday 8th July 2014
Time: 2pm – 5pm
Venue: College Court Conference Centre, Knighton Rd, Leicester, LE2 3UF

Please also contact us to receive a set of activities that can be used with pupils (KS1-4), staff and parents to consult on SRE/RSE and inform SRE/RSE policy. We would like to encourage all schools in the county to encourage people to try these activities in advance of the event in July.
